Signal and Signal Descriptions (Terminal Descriptions)
The Signal and Signal Descriptions section of a DSP data sheet contains a summary of all peripheral pins names and the associated peripheral. The peripheral pin names are abbreviated and associated with specific pins along with a description of the purpose of the pin. The type of signal is also defined in terms of input, output, high impedance, and source. In the Signal section of the data sheet, these values are given in the form of a block diagram, while the Signal Description is provided in a line item format.
Each pin of the device is defined including pins that are used to power the core and peripherals. Electrical specifications on these pins is found in the Absolute Maximum Ratings and Recommended Operational Conditions of the data sheet.
