Absolute Maximum Ratings
The
absolute maximum ratings section (Figure below) specifies the stress levels that, if exceeded, may cause permanent damage to the device. However, these are stress ratings only, and functional operation of the device at these or any other conditions beyond those indicated under recommended operating conditions is not implied. Also, exposure to absolute-maximum-rated conditions for extended periods may affect device reliability. As the Figure below indicates, there are two max voltages for the DSP Core (CVDD) and peripherals (DVDD). Input (Vi) and Output (Vo) voltages are provided to show the maximum voltages that can be applied to any hardware pin. Temperature ranges are also included to define Operating Temperatures (Tc) and storage temperatures (Tstg)

† Stresses beyond those listed under “absolute maximum ratings” may
cause permanent damage to the device. These are stress ratings only,
and functional operation of the device at these or any other
conditions beyond those indicated under “recommended operating
conditions” is not implied. Exposure to absolute-maximum-rated
conditions for extended periods may affect device reliability.
NOTE 1: All voltage values are with respect to VSS.
