This section of the data sheet contains available software and hardware development tools for this family of DSP Processors.  Common Tools are used since the family or generation of processors use the same code development set.   Development Tools are provided to expedite the generation of Code, algorithm implementations, and fully integrate and debug software and hardware modules.

Development Support consists of two areas, Software and Hardware.  Software tools include a code generation and debugger environment named Code Composer Studio that contain C/C++ and assembly code compilers, an integrated development environment or IDE, and debugger tools that enable real time debugging and foundation software.  Hardware tools will include available development boards such as a DSP Starter Kit (DSK) or fully functional Evaluation Module (EVM).  These boards can be used to prototype device functionality and act as a platform for code development.
