After installing C6701 EVM, default GEL's to initialize the DSP gives errors and causes CCS to hang.

After installing a new 6701 EVM, I found that the default GEL's used to

initialize the DSP resulted in errors and caused CCS to hang.

This is caused when the switch settings on the EVM are wrong. Two settings had

to be changed to make this stable.

The first one should be changed to boot 'None', instead of 'HPI'.

The second should be changed from the "default" of

oscin = 25MHz for 6701 (OSCA) to

33MHz * 4=133MHz or OSCB.
