RTA failure in CCS 2.20
Problem:
Why does RTA fail in CCS 2.20 while RTA works fine for the same application in CCS 2.12?
Solution:
This FAQ applies to CCS 2.2 for C6000
RTA failure in CCS 2.20 is due to the change in the RTDX implementation between CCS 2.12 and CCS 2.20 that led to changes in target and host side emulation
drivers. So the application needs to be rebuilt in CCS 2.20 to use the new RTDX libraries. This will make sure that RTA works.
If third party emulators are used, the respective drivers will need to be
updated to incorporate the changes in RTDX implementations.
